NOORTEVAHETUS
Name of the project: “FEED: FEEL, EXPRESS, ENJOY, DARE” Youth Exchange
Date: 14th-22th October, 2024
City/Country: Valdagno, Italy
What was the main topic of the project?
Ksenia Elizabeth Kivonen – Feel, Express, Enjoy, Dare.
Daria Ptitsyna – The main topic of the project was creating an immersive theatre questioning whether performance is a creative expression or a demonstration of existence.
Kristina Haeng – What is performance and what is the current situation with social media. People can do anything for the approval of society.
Diana Jurkina – Theatre.
Liise Lugna – We did a performance about how us people are so controlled by society and that is through social media.
Veronika Aleinik – Theatre.
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Ksenia Elizabeth Kivonen – The biggest learning moment in a process like this often comes when theory transforms into lived experience. For me, it would likely occur during the transition from asking abstract questions to actively engaging with them in a collective, creative way. It might have been realizing how theatrical techniques—improvisation, role-play, or physical expression—can turn complex, internal questions into something tangible, relatable, and shared with others. That transformation highlights how art can bridge individual perspectives into a communal experience, deepening both personal insight and collective understanding.
Daria Ptitsyna – Personally, my biggest learning moment can be described in one sentence “Trust the process”. Sometimes you cannot tell straight ahead that the result will come up to your expectations. That’s why its so important to speak up if there is something bothering you, as there is always opportunity for a collective solution. Dont give up, try to work on it and improve it, all together!
Kristina Haeng – How to act, how to perform, how to communicate without words.
Diana Jurkina – 1. Don’t judge book by the cover. 2. Trust the process
Liise Lugna – For me it was to learn so many languages and team work and how to understand people better that don’t want to be understood.
Veronika Aleinik – How express my feeling while playing on a scene, work together.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?
Ksenia Elizabeth Kivonen – Yes, yes, yes!! Youth exchanges, volunteering, other activities…
Daria Ptitsyna – Now, that i came back from the project, i already feel that i miss theatre so much. I am planning on attending several theatre workshops and maybe enrolling in a theatre academy, but i will see how it goes.
Kristina Haeng – I will try to find other opportunities for performance, maybe try to join local theatre or create sketches online.
Diana Jurkina – Yes, I have plans. They may be not so big and active, but I would love to continue with theatre, performing etc. It’s help me to express myself and my feelings.
Liise Lugna – In acting? I’d say no. It was absolutely unforgettable experience and I loved every second of it but I don’t see my self being an actress in the future. In Erasmus+ projects? Of course, In my opinion I learned and widened my world view with that one week of Erasmus+ that 1 month in school.
Veronika Aleinik – I would try in the future something related to theatre or generally arts.
Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?
Ksenia Elizabeth Kivonen – Yes, yes, yes and yes!! For sure! I think that everyone needs to try it at least once. Youth exchanges are the best experience of my life! For me youth exchanges = changing, a lot of changes in mindset, soul, environment… You will be a new person after exchanges..
Daria Ptitsyna – I would definitely recommend going on a Youth Exchange project to my friends. In fact, i already did! This is such a unique experience which everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. You go on a Youth Exchange project being one person and come back being far more intelligent and with a lot of new friends with all over the world.
Kristina Haeng – Yes, this was an amazing experience I will propose would never try if not this project. I think this helps to open yourself to the world and find other ways of communication with people around me.
Diana Jurkina – I would. Sometimes it was hard and we had some misunderstandings, but it was worth it. Definitely will recommend. Overall Erasmus+ projects is really good opportunity to see the world and find new hobbies or new ways to express yourself.
Liise Lugna – Of course, In my opinion I learned and widened my world view with that one week of Erasmus+ that 1 month in school. It’s a multi cultural experience that in Estonia is very hard to find. I made long lasting friendships.
Veronika Aleinik – I would definitely recommend this experience to my friends, every project is something special, you meet new people, learn something new and connect with everyone.
Other comments or anything else you would like to share? You can answer in your mother tongue, if you want!
Kristina Haeng – I do believe the project idea and realisation was brilliant! I saw that in the end everyone changed a bit. Life changing experience.
Diana Jurkina – See oli lihtsalt niii äge. Suur suur suur aitäh!!!
