KOOLITUS
Name of the project: “Play – Create-Integrate” Youth Exchange
Date: 19th – 28th May, 2024
City/Country: Olsztyn, Poland
What was the main topic of the project?
Alina Tsyrkun – Show each other games we played in childhood, and create new ones.
Aleksei Kuroljov – National games and free-time activities of the past.
Anastasia Momblat – The main purpose of the project is to show the alternative of spending free time in a creative way with friends, using national games that were popular in the old days when there were no smartphones, TV or the Internet and our grandparents played it, and for us are unknown.
Alisa Artjuh – play-create-integrate.
Jaanika Roos – Playing games.
Sofia Goltsman – show the alternative of spending free time in a creative way with friends, using national games that were popular in the old days when there were no smartphones, TV or the Internet and our grandparents played it, and for us are unknown.
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Alina Tsyrkun – to leave the comfort zone.
Aleksei Kuroljov – Getting to know the similarities between national games of different countries. Games are similar and connected through shared regions, languages and cultures.
Anastasia Momblat – The biggest learning moment for me lasted throughout the project, when I was able to communicate with people from other countries. I learned not to be afraid to speak another language and to be less nervous when meeting people and working in a team.
Alisa Artjuh – Evenings after assignments.
Jaanika Roos – That despite the fact that people are different, speak different languages and come from different places, we are still able to communicate, have a good time together, work and make strong connections with each other.
Sofia Goltsman – The biggest learning moment for me was realizing how much fun it is to connect with people from different countries and cultures through games. I learned that even though we may speak different languages and have different customs, we can still bond over the joy of playing together.
