Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting calls for participants for European Solidarity Corps (ESC) long-term volunteering project which means promoting and organising different activities in Vicenza, Italy.
DATES: from June 2024 to Feb 2025 (8 months)
Activities:
- Spreading information to young people about the opportunities offered by ESC and Erasmus+ Program, i.e. in high schools
- Events organisation
- Promotion and communication of the different activities run by Progetto Giovani Vicenza
- Support the staff in their daily work
- Rooms arrangement
- If possible, involvement in European projects (i.e. youth exchanges, training courses) organised/hosted by Studio Progetto
- Conversation groups in many languages (i.e. French, German, Spanish, Chinese, English)
- Non-formal training session with all the volunteers hosted by Studio Progetto and other organisation of the territory of Vicenza
Mostly in summer time, when some activities are not running, the volunteers will also cooperate with one of the organisations that regularly works at Polo Giovani B55 (“La Piccionaia” – Theater Production Center) with some additional tasks, i.e.:
- Help in setting up the performance space, theatre and garden
- Welcoming the public at performances and administering questionnaires/interviews
- Collecting and post-production of photo and video material for performances and activities
- Production of social content for storytelling of shows and activities
- Supporting artists and educators during “AstraCamp” , summer theatre weeks for children and young people
Participant profile:
18-30 years old
All the volunteers are provided with accommodation, insurance, language support, pocket and food money, and travel expenses.
