Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Long Term Training Course called “SKAB’ing: Diving into Skills, Knowledge, Attitudes & Behaviours” which will take place from 26th April until 2nd May 2024 in Tauchen (Austria) and from 24th until 30th June 2024 in Weimar (Germany).

Welcome to the world of SKAB’ing, where we try to unravel the intricate tapestry of Skills, Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviours. In this exploration, we delve into the core elements that shape our overlapping personal and professional landscapes.

This project is an invitation to embark on a self-exploring and self-directed learning process; we will chart our own course aiming to acquire a nuanced understanding of these complexities, enabling us to navigate the relationship effectively within the context of ETS competence models in our educational roles.

The activities will provide opportunities to explore:

• The ETS Competence Models, their dimensions and, in particular, the interplay between attitudes and behaviours;
• The Competence-based approach in non- formal education;
• Self-discovery and self-directed learning.

Goals:

• Deconstructing the ETS Competence Models;
• Understanding of and Relationship building with the ETS Competence Models;
• Self-Exploration and Personal Development;
• Co-Creation and Participation Skills.

Participant profile:

Youth leaders, trainers, facilitators, youth workers, social workers & activists interested in developing further their individual & organisational competencies, creating a change in their community through education.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 EUR. The same participant should join both trainings. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
