Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Si Vis Pacem Para Pacem” which will take place from the 23rd of February until the 2nd of March 2024 in Kolin, Czech Republic.
This Training wants to provide an overview on how tobuild communities via community organising and non-violent direct actions(NVDA).
In the modern age with the migration crisis, climate crisis, post-pandemic recovery, international war and extremism on the rise across Europe, we feel the urge to equip youth workers with skills of community development, which they can transfer to youth.
Objectives of the project:
- to promote social cohesion and resilience among disadvantaged and marginalised Youth communities;
- to equip participants with the necessary tools and approaches to deal with social conflicts and tensions in their reality;
- to foster civic responsibility and activism among participants;
- to implement the community organising approach in local problem-solving and decision-making;
- to empower the dissemination of non-violent direct activism approaches.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 EUR. There are 3 vacancies available. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
