Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Paths of Learning” which will take place from 6th until 12th November 2023 in Tenefire, Spain.
This Training Course will provide youth workers with outdoor education tools and techniques that can be applied in the educational process of young people.
We will explore language learning techniques, treasure hunts, heritage interpretation games, volunteering and environmental leisure activities to teach the importance of local heritage, and activities that raise awareness about the fragility and protection of the environment.
Participants will learn outdoor education tools and techniques, and will apply them to create prototypes of outdoor education activities, which can be then adapted and used in their projects and daily work. We will carry out and test these newly-developed activities experiencing first-hand what is the meaning of implementing outdoor educational activities and how they can contribute to the young people’s development.
Participant`s profile:
The training is aimed for people over 18 y.o. and who are actively working (professionally or on a voluntary basis) as trainers/educators in non-formal education with young people. They can be leaders or members of youth associations with or without experience in non-formal education. The project is also open to educators with less experience in these methodologies, in order to broaden their knowlegde and skills. It is important that participants are motivated to take part into outdoor activities, with a positive and active-learning aptitude. Please take into account that we will also perform some short hikes and walking activities.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 820 EUR. There are 2 vacancies available. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
