Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “WECITIZEN” which will take place from 6th until 12th November 2023 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Social action and volunteering function together to encourage engagement from people of all backgrounds. People can take the first step toward sustained involvement in development by volunteering. On the other hand, social action is crucial for defining areas of involvement, mobilizing people, and offering leadership. However, to bring about the change it desires, social action depends on the contributions of volunteers.

Volunteers are crucial knowledge resources for development initiatives and can assist guarantee that advocacy campaigns related to development are legitimate and up-to-date. By engaging in social activism, volunteering, or both, people can gain the self- assurance, competence, and knowledge required to make a difference in their communities.

The project will promote youth participation in democratic life, support social and civic engagement, and will aim to ensure that all young people have the necessary resources to take part in society.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 320 EUR. Participants must be over 18 years old. There are 6 vacancies available. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
