Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Art of Change” which will take place from the 3rd until the 12th of November 2023 in Doubravník, Czech Republic.
The main goal of this project is to promote the values of humanity and equality among young people, as well as encouraging their knowledge and understanding of the meaning of democracy, its principles and its benefits.
Objectives:
- To spread information among young people about the potential of art and the importance of preserving cultural traditions as a tool for the development of democratic values;
- To raise awareness of equal rights for all people; respect for social groups and diverse opinions, and environmental human rights (i.e. the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment);
- To make young people familiar with their rights and ways to protect them, especially on personal data protection; to discuss the problem of access to opportunities for young people from low-income families, from rural areas and young people with disabilities and to propose ways to solve it;
- To make young people interested in opportunities to influence the development of their country: implement social changes, to understand the mechanisms in the relationships between government and people, to stimulate interest in expressing their will (participation in democratic elections);
- Through the young people’s performance, to inspire and communicate to the audience all the knowledge gained during the project and the message to create changes.
Participant`s profile:
- Youth 16-30 y.o;
- Participants with interest in arts, democracy, or social changes;
- To be committed to act as a multiplier and disseminate knowledge after the project.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food, and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 EUR. There are 5 vacancies available. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
