What was the main topic of the event?

Alissa Vorobjova – Mental health, how to cope with emotions, parent-child relationship and information about wellbeing in participating countries.

Beata Blaževitš – Mental health.

Harry Sten Sellik – Mental health.

Mariel Karilaid – Mental Health.

Angelica Igoševa – Mental health and well-being.

Lina Vainlo –Mental health awareness.

What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?

Alissa Vorobjova – My own team. All of them were so different but all extremely smart and inspiring. We managed to find such a good balance in our team and understand each other well.

Beata Blaževitš – For me the biggest learning moment was what kind of mental issues youth face in other countries. I also learned a lot of interesting facts about other countries that I had never heard of.

Harry Sten Sellik – The moments where we shared what are the available resources for an average youth for dealing with problems with mental health in the participating countries.

Mariel Karilaid – Taking care of myself in a new environment and learning to set boundaries and pursue my goals.

Angelica Igoševa – The biggest lesson what I learnt there was when psychologist visit our camp. She taught us that, you can not control your emotions for a certain situation, however you can change reaction and thoughts about that.

Lina Vainlo –To know about mental health care in the other participants countries.

 

Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?

Alissa Vorobjova – Yes, I do. I would definitely love being a part of other youth projects and stay active!

Beata Blaževitš – Of course yes, I want to make my own project about mental health, because for me this kind of topic is very important and I think that people need to talk and discuss about it.

Harry Sten Sellik – Perhaps I may work more of with these types of NGOs in the future, but I haven’t had that much time yet to make that decision.

Mariel Karilaid – No.

Angelica Igoševa – As the project was about mental health, it leads me to the considiration that it is crucial to take of your self the same way as you do to loved ones.

Lina Vainlo –Yes, I am currently studying psychology in the university, so I can use this knowledge to maybe improve situation in my country in the near future.

 

Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Alissa Vorobjova – Definitely! Even though this project was not really focused on Mental Health itself. It was mostly about communication, creativity, learning to feel our own emotions and sharing opinions. However, i would recommend this to a friend to feel this bonding experience and interact with people of other cultures.

Beata Blaževitš – Absolutely yes, First of all, you will find friends in a European country and you can get together in the future. Secondly, in my opinion, such projects motivate learning and self-development, which is great. Third, you learn about other cultures that are not discussed in schools.

Harry Sten Sellik – Yes, absolutely! interacting with people with different backgrounds and sharing your thoughts and experiences with them will enrich everyone.

Mariel Karilaid – Yes! You learn to enjoy leaving your comfort zone and widen your horizons.

Angelica Igoševa – Definitely, overall Erasmus projects are unique, because you probably never will meet the same combination of people in the same room again. You will gain a lot of knowledge from the project and if you have experienced something bad that will be a good lesson for you.

Lina Vainlo –Yes, totally! I really enjoyed the project and this experience for itself was very helpful.
