What was the main topic of the event?
Mari-Ly Talas – How to use theatre tools to create and raise self awareness in communities:)
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Mari-Ly Talas – It’s hard to say which one of them was the biggest but my top 3 would include getting over the language barrier, realisations that the theater itself involves much more than we are used to see at the plays and can be used as a powerful tool to connect people on a deeper level. Last but not least, physical touch taken out of romantical context can be very powerful.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?
Mari-Ly Talas – Definitely! I would really like to go deeper with this topic and theater in general. Also spread the knowledge I gained around me and participate in more projects.
Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?
Mari-Ly Talas – Biiiiig Yes! In addition to the fact that you gain new skills, get enriched with new perspectives and make friends internationally you also have this beautiful oppurtunity to enlight other communitys around you with the knowledge you gained and make world sweeter place for everyone.
