Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Youth For Rural” which will take place from the 4th until the 16th of August 2023 in Szaporca, Hungary.

– Are you a big city person or living in a countryside?
– Would you like to have domestic animals?
– Would you like to reduce your ecological footprint?
– Do you like to meet new people in a calm rural area?
– Are you a person who like to spend days in the nature?
– Would you like discover a really nice village in South Hungary?
– Would you like to change habits and be more climate firendly?
– Are you interested in a practical activity based youth project?
If YES, Youth for Rural! youth exchange project is waiting for you!
Youth for Rural! will organize by Vidéken Jó! Alapítvány (in English: Go Rural! Foundation) in Hungary at Szaporcai Cifraház. We would like to reflect on the rural area, domestic animals, animal husbandry, eco-lifestyle. We would like to motivate the participants to change their attitude, be more eco-friendly and learn new skills and methods around animals, rural activities and other practical knowledge belong to it.
Workshops:
1. Mobile chicken coop – building a mobile coop for chickens, useful knowledge for city and village people too.
2. Save the bees! – making traditional bee hives, and bee hostel, learn the base of beekeeping
3. Horse – horse care, horse riding, making a halter
4. Media – short film and pictures about the project
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food, and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants. There are 7 vacancies available from 17 to 26 years old. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
