Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “YES! – Youth Empowerment Through Social Entrepreneurship” which will take place from 16^th until 23^rd July 2023 in Dilijan, Armenia.

About the project:

For several months of Covid-19 lock-downs and states of emergencies around Europe, many young people with fewer opportunities feel frustrated. This is breeding low self-esteem, low motivation and cynicism. That is why it is the high time to empower young social entrepreneurs and youth led social enterprises, which today are needed the most. Across Europe, social entrepreneurs should step up to help addressing social, public health-care and economic issues that have resulted from the Covid-19 pandemic. Young Europeans of different nationalities, genders and religions should support each other, establish social initiatives and enterprises to tackle the economic crisis. The possibility of high impact of young community-focused social entrepreneurs should not be lost in times when it is needed the most. This Youth Exchange aims to raise awareness of social entrepreneurship, creating an international platform where ideas on how to use a tool of social entrepreneurship can be shared and possible youth responses to the economic crisis can be discussed.

Objectives:

Widen the perspectives of young people on the concept of social entrepreneurship as a tool for tackling social, healthcare and economic problems aggravated due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Share information with one another on existing resources for the social entrepreneurs and share know-how on social enterprises.
Learn how to use Youthpass and 8 Key Competencies for creative process of skill harnessing, self-reflection and documentation of personal learning process.
Promote Erasmus + Programme and explain how young people and young entrepreneurs can benefit from the opportunities it offers.
Motivate and encourage young people to develop joint social entrepreneurial idea, projects and initiatives.
Jointly explore tools and methodologies for creating conditions for social dialogue, a culture of diversity, acceptance and pluralism and for dealing with current fears that exist in our society.

Participant`s profile:

Have little or no experience of mobility projects as individuals and within their organizations and are willing to become active in their community.
Have the support of their organizations and Group Leaders to attend this Youth Exchange and have an interest and the possibility within to create a social initiative or social enterprise.
Are motivated to learn about and make use of the Erasmus+ Programme for promoting youth entrepreneurship and employability.
Are at least 18 years and maximum 25 years old (besides the team leaders)

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 EUR. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
