Ksenija Akimova – Sports and popular physical activities in different countries.

Olha Haidai – Main topic was sport and how it can be helpful in life.

Darja Timina – Sports.

Anette Aun– To discover yourself through sport and games.

Maksim Tsõpov – Raise awareness of different kinds/types of sports and learn how to build connections through sports activities.

What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?

Natalie Li Lind – As I was one of the organizers for this youth exchange, my biggest learning moments were connected to that experience. One of them is definitly, understanding that not everyone recives information in the same way. The exchange made me reconsider how to inform people about important information.

Ksenija Akimova – Seeing the difference in sport games based on the country the participants were from and also being able to try new physical activities that I had not known about before.

Olha Haidai – The biggest learning moment for me was when I learned more about sport in different countries and had the opportunity to see and feel the difference in particular examples by participating in activities. In general, the project made me reconsider my attitude to sport and its role in my life.

Anette Aun– Learning what aspects make up a functioning team.

Maksim Tsõpov – My life was always connected with sports. My biggest learning moment was getting out of my comfort zone and building relations with amazing representatives of other cultures and communities.

Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?

Natalie Li Lind – Yes I do, I will still be a coordinator for ESC projects.

Ksenija Akimova – Definitely! I will never stop taking part/facilitating projects .

Olha Haidai – Indeed I will. Such kind of projects is definitely life-changing experience that helps you learn and have fun at the same time. In the future I would like to play the role of not only participant but as a facilitator as well because this kind of activities makes me enjoy my life fully.

Darja Timina – I really liked the project, so I’d like to go for a few more in my nearest future.

Anette Aun– Yes, I plan to keep an eye out for more projects to attend and in the meantime gain self-confidence to be more active in my community and in possible future projects.noortevahetus youth exchange nyh estonia sport

Maksim Tsõpov – I do, actually. I’ve been a part of active student union in my school for a few years. Now I am planning to work more on intercultural projects.

Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Natalie Li Lind – Yes of course I would. Youth projects have shaped me a lot and I think every young person would benefit from participating. I would especially recommend joining a youth project that takes place in Estonia. You’ll get a similar experience to, you would get abroad, but with less travelling hassle..

Ksenija Akimova – Yes! It’s a life changing experience that allows you to become a better version of yourself.

Olha Haidai – Yes for sure! As I’ve already said this is a life-changing experience and in my viewpoint, everyone should go through it at least once.

Darja Timina – Yes, it was lovely atmosphere and you can practice your English skills as well as make some new friends.

Anette Aun– Yes! Through this project you can learn new things about yourself, find inspirations to better yourself and also make new friends across the world.

In the beginning you could experience some discomfort, but later on you reincarnate as wiser, more sensible and social person. I’ll just quote a phrase “There is no growth without discomfort and pain” and for me life is all about self development. So I would say that participating in these type of experiences is essential for challenging yourself and getting know your own limits.

Other comments or anything else you would like to share? You can answer in your mother tongue if you want!
