Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants and a group leader for a Youth Exchange called “BEE ACTIVE – GO FURTHER” which will take place from 22nd until 28th May 2023 in Sanguedo, Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.
The promotion of biodiversity
Learning in a natural environment, promoting awareness, on the part of young people, of the role they should play in the social world, namely, promoting diversity as a way of combating social exclusion, through the analogy between the examples of the world nature, specifically, the role of bees in promoting biodiversity.
Specifically, the project includes sessions of research, sharing, debate and reflection on the role of bees for the biodiversity, namely, by promoting the preservation of these pollinating agents.
Bee Active raise awareness of the adoption of environmentally friendly behaviours. The project thus emerges as a way of responding to the social problems and the identified needs. In this sense, Bee Active will provide young people with a unique multicultural experience centred on their needs and expectations.
It will also promote learning in a natural environment, promoting awareness, on the part of young people, of the role they should play in the social world, namely, promoting diversity as a way of combating social exclusion, through the analogy between the examples of the world nature, specifically, the role of bees in promoting biodiversity.
PARTICIPAT`S PROFILE:
Young People:
- Aged 16 to 25 years old;
- at risc or social exclusion;
- motivated to develop skills;
- motivated to participate in a European — wide project;
- motivated to interact and colaborate with participants from different
social conditions.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 530 EUR. There are 6 vacancies available. There will be a participation fee of 40 EUR per participant.
