Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Digital Storytelling – Tell Y(our) Story on Social Media” which will take place from 17th until 26th March 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The aim of the project is to develop critical thinking, creative thinking, digital skills, media literacy, social problems, discrimination, solving problems, and encouraging to become a local leader among youth workers and/or facilitators.
The idea is to combine social media and social inclusion. The project will be based on media literacy and human rights. The participants will have the chance to speak and share problems in their local community but also will have the chance to understand how to raise awareness on important topics in the local community.
Our goals and objectives:
- To identify and to talk about social problems on social media To increase youth workers` and young people`s competitive advantages in using social media to tackle social problems in their local communities
- To advance youth workers/facilitators` skills and competencies in digital skills, multimedia tools, identifying local problems and solutions
The youth workers participating in the project will obtain skills and competencies allowing them to increase their own proficiency in organisational management, communication and strategic planning.
This event will bring together 33 participants from Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, Greece, Italy and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 4 vacancies available, and participants should be at least 18 years old (no age limit).
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 340 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
