KOOLITUS
Name of the project: “Mindful Erasmus+ Leaders’’ Training Course
Date: 01st October – 08th October 2022
City/Country: Floda, Sweden.
What was the main topic of the event?
Aleksandra Galkina – Self-development, mindfulness and leadership for improving the quality of Youth Exchange programmes
Zoja Krasina – It was about leadership, facilitation and mindfulness.
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Aleksandra Galkina – The whole project was the biggest learning for me. I would say that everything worked as one mechanism there – I felt it very well thought out and very well organised. I was very happy to come to the project where people care about people. Was very interesting observing human reactions, but also to learn some new types of the activities for the future work.
Zoja Krasina – The most important workshop was about creating Leader User’s Manual. It helped me to understand which kind of leader I want to be as well as what do I want to bring to this world. And I can’t help but mention that I got a lot of practice in giving feedback 😀
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?
Aleksandra Galkina – Yes, I would love to develop more ideas, organise and facilitate projects and to involve more people in the work of my own NGO .
Zoja Krasina – Sure, I’d like to share these opportunities to more people and make my own projects for youth <3
Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?
Aleksandra Galkina – For sure I will, especially if they will see that the trainers of the project are Marco Santos or Dora Preszeller – they’re amazing! 😄 But generally those experiences are not only helping to learn about the topic or new cultures, but also to develop your own competences and to start understanding yourself better.
Zoja Krasina – Surely I believe that everyone has to try this experience at least once in their life. Erasmus gives a chance to meet with people from other cultures, make friends, and most importantly to challenge yourself and grow as a person.
Other comments or anything else you would like to share? You can answer in your mother tongue, if you want!
Zoja Krasina – I would like to thank trainers and organizers for this wonderful experience. I had a lot of great moments I wish to keep <3
