KOOLITUS
Name of the project:“Breath for a second’’ Training Course
Date:20th September – 28th September 2022
City/Country: Laguna de Cameros, La Rioja, Spain.
What was the main topic of the event?
Evelin Kiisk – Yoga and mindfulness
Ketrin Kastehein – Yoga
Pille Markov – Yoga and mindfulness
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Evelin Kiisk – Yoga is not a sport. It’s a physical way of being mindful among many other things.
Ketrin Kastehein – My biggest learning moment was that you don’t need much to practice yoga and meditation in your daily life.
Pille Markov – It is really hard to choose one, because I really felt like this project helped me in so many ways. It was really informative and practical. I did not know much about chakras or yoga before and when I left, I felt like I knew my body and my needs much better.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?
Evelin Kiisk – I’d like to continue doing yoga. I will be trying to merge mindfulness and yoga principles with my everyday life.
Ketrin Kastehein – Yes I’m really keen on going to more training courses and of course to youth exchanges. I want to organize a project myself or at least be a part of an organizing team.
Pille Markov – I plan on participating in upcoming projects and training courses.
Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?
Evelin Kiisk – I really enjoyed this project. I would highly recommend it to people with an interest in the field. It was very enlightening in many aspects and supports personal growth.
Ketrin Kastehein – Yes, every youth exchange or training course is so different. You meet so different people and different places. You learn so much about yourself being in a different environment.
Pille Markov – Yes, yes and yes! There are no doubts.
