Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Together with Migrants” which will take place from 31st October until 08th November 2022 in Brebu, Romania.
In ‘‘Together with Migrants’’, young people from different areas, social backgrounds, and personal stories will participate. During the participant selection phases, we made sure that there was a balance in terms of female, male gender. No one would be discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation, religion, social and/or cultural background, economic possibilities, etc. The 45 participants will have the opportunity to implement numerous skills and knowledge related to the project theme as well as on an individual personal level.
Through this project we want to achieve the following objectives:
- Make the 45 participants aware of the migration crisis and the phenomenon of hate speech, which is affecting Europe in recent years.
- To take concrete actions against hate speech and defamation of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
- Our main objective behind the implementation of this project was motivated by our desire to raise awareness in the community about the issues and problems, discrimination, and difficulties that migrants, refugees and asylum seekers face on a daily basis.
This event will bring together 45 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and The North Macedonia. The event will be held in English. There are 9 vacancies available, and participants should be between 18- 25 years old (no age limit for the group leader)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
