Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Green it Up!” which will take place from 14th November until 23rd November 2022 in Merine, Italy.
“Green it UP!” is an international youth exchange which will help 30 young participants to learn practical green knowledge and green skills about personal development which they can use later on in their everyday life, improving communication skills, and deepening their connection with nature and surroundings.
Through this project we want to achieve the following objectives:
- Create a safe space for discussions allowing participants to address issues related to environment and climate change.
- Raise awareness about the global warming and assist participants in developing critical thinking about consumerism, waste and needs
- Increase tolerance towards others and confidence in themselves. Make young people inspite others by their own actions
- Support participants in finding creative ways for self-expression and young people about sustainable alternatives and lifestyles and encourage young people to adopt a zero waste lifestyle
This event will bring together 30 participants from Estonia, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available, and participants should be between 21-27 years old (no age limit for the group leader).
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
