Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “ULYSSES” which will take place from 12th September until 21st September 2022 in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), Italy.
The project we structured draws inspiration from the literary background of the Homeric work Odyssey to try to give more tools to young Europeans at risk of dropping out of school or that would like to take a time to reflect about their educational and professional path.
We propose to realise a metaphorical journey in the footsteps of the Odyssey in which the non-formal education tools will allow the participants to tell a story stripped of the social stresses to which everyday life subjects them. The aim is to realise a new poem, Ulysses, centred on their personal growth experimentation and inspired by their talents and desires.
This event will bring together 36 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Spain and Slovakia. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should be between 18-22 years old (no age limit for the group leader)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
