Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Sustainable education in a digital world” which will take place from 23rd July until 01st August 2022 in Ribeira do Neiva, Vila Verde, Portugal.
The participants of the activities proposed in this project will develop several skills about Sustainable Education in a Digital World, as well as the awareness of being European citizens.
The exchange location will be a safe, sustainable and opportune space for contact with nature, to promote experiencing the issues addressed, namely with regard to climate change and environmental sustainability regeneration.
The project includes several activities:
- Immersions in the forest, allowing the connection with nature, with group dynamics.
- Moments of daily reflection where, individually and in groups, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate the day to express feelings and opinions about the program and give feedback to facilitators and organizers, as well as reflect on the development of their Youthpass skills.
- Dynamics related to self-knowledge: what it is, what tools we have and how to apply them, with the approach of themes related to active listening, non-violent communication, interpersonal relationships and equality.
- Reflections and dynamics related to the Ecosystem and a responsible and safe use of technologies.
- Development of practical group projects as an example of good use of technology, balanced with the protection and connection of nature.
This event will bring together 47 participants from Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia. The event will be held in English. There are 7 vacancies available and participants should be between 13-30 years old (A group leader should be minimum 18 years old)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
