NOORTEVAHETUS
Name of the project: “Play the Notes of Future Competences” Youth Exchange
Date: 09th – 17th April 2022
City/Country: Békés, Hungary
What was the main topic of the event?
Christofer Robin Velberg – Individual learning with the assistance of music.
Eike Teder – Music and sustainability
Evelin Teder – Music and sustainability
Olesja Kortšenova – Main topic was about music and sustainability
Zoja Krasina – Music and development of key competences
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Christofer Robin Velberg – I learned a lot about my ability to feel emphatic or emotional one a very deep day.
Eike Teder – Coping with different type of people
Evelin Teder – Teamwork and listening to others, to create something together and that being a leader of a team is easier with a supporting and strong team.
Olesja Kortšenova – The biggest moment of learning was about opening myself to strangers by making music together and listening each other
Zoja Krasina – This project helped me to develop a lot of skills. The paramount one that I’ve been intentionally working on is public speaking. In addition to that, I was the group leader for the first time and being responsible for my team and being there for them, when they needed my support, helped me to discover a lot of new things about myself that I wasn’t aware of. I’ve got a lot of important feedback that helped me to raise my self-confidence and become more aware of my strengths.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, what?
Christofer Robin Velberg – I’m not yet sure. If the urge to self-develop or learn about new cultures comes back, I’ll definitely go to another event perhaps.
Eike Teder – I am not sure. If some topic really speaks to me, then I might take part as a participant. Also it would be great to meet others again.
Evelin Teder – Don’t know yet
Olesja Kortšenova – Yes, i am already becoming a leader on some projects.
Zoja Krasina – I’m amazed by the energy and atmosphere on projects, it gives me a lot of inspiration and motivation. I would like to do some events about personal development and also gain knowledge about project making. And after that make my own one. And maybe not even one 🙂 And, of course, I would like to participate in projects more, because, honestly, the learning potential on these projects are limited only by your own mind.
Would you recommend it to your friends? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Christofer Robin Velberg – Yes, cause it gave me a lot of new information and new friends, who hopefully won’t be a one-week friend group.
Eike Teder – I would still recommend this because in the end when we said good bye to each other, I felt thankful that I paricipated. A really good experience to put yourself out of your comfortzone.
Evelin Teder – Yes, because it is a good way to get to know yourself better and I would recommend it. You learn in a different environment and during the project there are, depending on the project ofcourse, people who chose this exact project too, now it was music themed, and almost everyone who joined the project, either played an instrument or sang, so as I said depending on the project it might bring together people with similar interests and will make the getting to know eachother part easier.
Olesja Kortšenova – Of course, i will recommend. It is an amazing experience to see part of yourself what were hidden so far.
Zoja Krasina – I would gladly recommend participating in such activities to everyone. It greatly broadens one’s horizons, a person becomes more aware about his weakness and strengths and has a chance to challenge oneself in order to overcome some of the fears. It give an opportunity to travel for free, meet new people and get acquainted with new cultures, improve in a lot of ways and gain more knowledge about interesting topics. Why would someone say no to that? 😀
