STRATEEGILINE PARTNERLUS
Name of the project: “The Teachers Way”
Type of the Project: Strategic Partnership
Date: 01.02.2020 – 01.03.2022
Countries Involved: Estonia, France, Italy, Lithuania, North Macedonia, and Romania
What was the main topic of the Project?
Liis Vääna- The Project’s objective was to foster teachers’ ability to actively involve students in the education process by offering different (extra)curricular activities that can be performed out of schools and other activities based on non-formal education methods. I jumped in when the Project was already started, and at the beginning, it was a bit overwhelming to me. Step by step, I understood the aim better and better, and then I got to meet the project team in Estonia. It was a lovely meeting and cleared a lot of misunderstandings for me. Before and After meeting in Estonia, we met several times online, and also I flew to Italy, Lithuania, and North Macedonia, where the final meeting was held. It was such a pleasant journey to be on with the friendly team and the excellent output we made together.
Anna Borodulja- Main topic was to create a tool book with non-formal education games and methods that all kind of educators can implement in their working routine.
What were the most significant learning moments of the Project for you?
Liis Vääna- Everything can be online, and it is possible to do big things there, but if you see people in real life, the dynamic changes. You see how they are and what they think, and it is a much easier and quicker way to find solutions to problems. Yes, later on, when you know your team already, everything is possible.
Anna Borodulja- I think, the biggest learning moment was to see how different are education systems in different countries.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, what?
Liis Vääna- It was my first KA2 project with Noored Ühiskonna Heaks, and I liked it a lot- new connections and ideas for new projects, so yes, why not. Everything is not so easy if you have three jobs and a kiddo. Have to remind me to take time for new projects in the future.
Anna Borodulja- Definitely! I would like to continue participating in Erasmus+ projects and to be an active member of the organization.
Would you recommend it to your friends? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Liis Vääna- Erasmus+ has widened my eyesight for years already, and I always recommend it to youngsters I work with and all the people who are ready to give and get so many good emotions.
Anna Borodulja- Erasmus + is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, gain new knowledge or/and get deeper into the topic that interests you. This is an amazing chance to broaden your horizons so if you haven’t tried it yet, check the NYH webpage, you definitely will find the project on your taste!
This Project was financed by European Commission’s Erasmus + Programme.
