Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “EcoTeens – active citizenship for planet Earth” which will take place from 13th until 21st July 2022 in Brebu, Romania.
Through “EcoTeens – active citizenship for planet Earth” we want to promote a sustainable lifestyle and eco alternatives to day-to-day habits. We also aim to increase the civic involvement and participation of young people on environmental topics as well as their interest for ecology.
The aim of the project is to increase the level of knowledge and civic sense among young people, regarding ecology and environmental protection.
We want that through the activities within the youth exchange to raise an alarm signal at local level, in Resita and Caras-Severin, on local environmental issues and the need for active involvement in solving them.
The objectives of the project:
- Increasing knowledge about ecology and environmental protection among the 25 participants + 5 group leaders during the exchange
- Development of the spirit of initiative, civic participation and active involvement among the 25 participants+ 5 group leaders, during the exchange
- Increasing creativity and artistic skills by finding sustainable alternatives to environmental issues, among those 25 participants + 5 group leaders during the exchange
- Increasing knowledge about recycling and sustainability among the 25 participants+5 group leaders during the exchange
This event will bring together 30 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should be between 15-20 years old (A group leader should be minimum 18 years old and no age limit)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
