Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Skepsis vs Propaganda’’ which will take place from 04th June until 12th June 2022 in Sivas, Turkey.
“Skepsis vs Propaganda” is 7 days long training course that will take place in Turkey from 4th -12th June 2022 and will be devoted to critical thinking. The training course will involve 28 people from 8 countries.
We set the following aim for our project: To increase critical thinking skills among youth leaders, youth workers and NGO activists and their stakeholders through learning about tools and methods to improve critical thinking and by creating tools and workshops which later would be used in local communities.
Objectives:
– To increase critical thinking skill among participants of TC and their stakeholders
– To improve the quality of youthwork in partner organizations
– To promote active citizenship and understanding of democratic processes through knowledge on critical thinking and media literacy
– To create 6 tools and workshops about critical thinking for youth workers which can later be applied at local communities
– To fight fakes, propaganda, prejudice, misinformation, etc. Project Information Aims & Objectives
– To develop new activities within the “Skepsis” movement to have better continuation and spreading of ideas about critical thinking
The training is designed to equip participants with tools that can be used in daily work with young people and the learning outcomes of this training program are foreseen to be disseminated in the outfield through the use of methods, sharing the approach, and follow-up.
This event will bring together 28 participants from Estonia, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Poland, Spain and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should be from older than 18 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
