KOOLITUS
Name of the project: “From Caterpillar to Butterfly” Training Course
Date: 1st-10th March 2022
City/Country: Merine, Italy
What was the main topic of the event?
Allan Rist- Self-awareness, nature-based human psyche model.
Diana Tsastikova- Mindful Lifestyle
Elisabeth Luisk – Nature based mindfulness and map of human psyche
What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?
Allan Rist- For me the biggest learning moment was when I looked deeper into what I do and why I do that. What is the internal need and motivation when I act.
Diana Tsastikova- Mindful lifestyle
Elisabeth Luisk- Biggest learning moment was realising how much strength, beauty and mutual support is there when one lives in connection with nature.
Do you have any plans to continue being active in the field? If yes, what?
Allan Rist- I am definitely going even deeper into my psyche. I believe that our minds are powerful and can change our life when we work on that.
Diana Tsastikova- I’ve had an interest in mindfulness and sustainability before the project as well, so I am planning to continue not only receiving information, but also giving it forward to youngsters who I’m working with.
Elisabeth Luisk- It was an experience that gave me a lot of practical and theoretical tools to share with people I work with and therefore I am going to learn even more about the these specific theories we were taught in this training course. In the next few months I would really love to participate in one more NYH project.
Would you recommend it to your friends? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Allan Rist- I would definitely recommend a program like this to my friends and family. I felt very rewarded after the program and found a few people I really loved spending time with (fortunately one of them is also in Tartu!)
Diana Tsastikova- Yes, because the trainers were very professional and they’ve helped us to go deeper not only in mindfulness concept, but to really try and taste it in different life aspects like food, cooking, being offline etc
Elisabeth Luisk- I would definitely recommend this experience to my friends as it gave me so much practical tools to work on myself on personal but also professional level.
