Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “MEDLEY” which will take place from 15th April until 23rd April 2022 in Altamura, Italy.
For one week the participants will take part in different activities, with the goal of the project being a concert performed by the youths on the last day of the project.
Beside music being the main theme, the purpose of “MEDLEY” is to give the participants the opportunity to meet people of different cultures, and to exchange thoughts and ideas with each other.
During the project, participants will among many things make activities for getting to know each other, play music together, participate in a workshop of making instruments from recycled materials, have workshops with professional musicians of different genres, make a visit to the grand theatre of Altamura, and to the neighboring UNESCO world heritage city of Matera, and, as the final activity of the project, to prepare and perform a public concert.
This event will bring together 30 participants from Estonia, France, Italy, Jordan and Kosovo. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should be between 15-17 years old (no age limit for the group leader)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 360 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
