Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “A Society Without Racism” which will take place from 31st March until 06th April 2022 in Novaci, Romania.
“A Society Without Racism” is aiming to increase the degree of acceptance and integration into the community of migrants/refugees by building multicultural communities through the sustainable methods that will be developed by the youth workers during the implementation of the project.
The training takes place as a result of the increasing wave of refugees, racist situations and the number of migrants. EU countries have begun to be increasingly affected by these problems and also violation of rights, discrimination and inequality. Amnesty International presented a report that worldwide about 19.5 million people have been forced to seek refuge in another country. People who arrive abroad are treated unequally intellectually, linguistically, religiously in relation to the society in which they will to integrate. Through this project we want to reduce discriminatory situations and promote tolerance.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Promoting the benefits of a multicultural society and the fundamental / universal, European rights among the 29 youth workers in the partner communities;
- Increasing the degree of acceptance and integration in society of migrants / refugees through the activities undertaken by youth workers in each local community as a result of the steps studied during the training of the course;
- Encouraging the development of solid partnerships during the 6 days during the training course, between the 29 youth workers in view of the implementation of high-quality Erasmus+ projects.
This event will bring together 29 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, Romania and Turkey. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should be from older than 18 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
