Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Long Term Training Course called “GREENday” (YEES) which will take place from February 2022 to December 2022. The training is composed by 3 events that will take place in Estonia, Italy and, Greece.

Training in Entrepreneurship Competence (Viljandi, 2nd – 9th February 2022)
Training in Green Startupper and Circular Economy (Sicily, 8th – 19th June 2022)
Training in Green Marketing and Promotion (Thessaloniki, 12th – 19th October 2022)

Description: “GREENday – Youth Entrepreneurship, Environmental Start-Ups” is a 26 month project aiming to tackle multiple challenges that youth faces today. First of all, it is a reply to the environmental concerns of climate change and pollution to which young people are reacting en-masse nowadays through movements like Fridays for Future or Extinction Rebellion.

The second challenge is the one posed by youth unemployment in a financial and economic context which is globally on its way to transformation, assuming more ethical values, circular economy and green responsibility by the Green sector, as that is the growing demand from the customers and consumers. Therefore, our project aims to build and foster

entrepreneurship competences in young people, starting from an entrepreneurial attitude, and apply it to solutions to today’s environmental challenges and ecological concerns of youth across and beyond Europe.

Objectives:
-To foster attitudes and competences of young people to create their own Green Start-up enterprises, following through their realisation

-To create a local and international support network around the young people’s green business ideas that foster their implementation.

-To create a pilot project that will be easy to budget free create local replications and multiplication of the activities, with usability of the tools we created.

-To digitalise tools and tailor them around the target group to allow reusability and sustainability of the long term perspectives

-To provide visibility and disseminate EU opportunities for young people in the field of mobility, employability, and entrepreneurship.

-To foster a new entrepreneurial culture among young people which fosters environmental responsibility and sustainability

Participants:

There will be 24 participants coming from 5 different countries (Estonia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Denmark)

Seriously interested in green businesses and economy
