KOOLITUS
Name of the project: “Youth Journey to Politics” Training Course
Date: 27th September until 6st October 2021
City/Country: Strasbourg, France
What was the main topic of the event?
Anna Borodulja – Policy and politics
Signe Oja – The main topic was getting youth workers to involve young people in politics and in policy-making.
Kleio Kalamaridi – Policy making
What was the biggest learning moments on the event for you?
Anna Borodulja – I have learned more about policy, also got some methods that I can use in future.
Signe Oja – My biggest learning moment was the whole process on how are policies written. It was really interesting how we had to choose just one problem that we related to and then start creating a policy by firstly writing out all the problems and possible solutions, then analysing them and by that getting to write a worthy policy that can actually be used outside of the project.
Kleio Kalamaridi – The biggest learning moment for me was when I realized how being absent from decision making can result in unfair decisions being taken
Do you have any plans to continue active in the field? If yes, what?
Anna Borodulja – I would be happy to continue going to the projects and share my experience
Signe Oja – I would love to participate in other projects in the future because this one gave me motivation to study more about politics and getting the opportunity to learn about other topics would be wonderful.
Kleio Kalamaridi – I am planning to be an active voter
Would you recommend it to your friends? I yes, why? If not, why not?
Anna Borodulja – I would definitely recommend Erasmus + experience to other people, it is one of the best things that happened to me.
Signe Oja – Yes, I would definitely recommend this to my friends. This experience is like no other, you get to meet people from all over Europe and learn about new topics in a totally different way.
Kleio Kalamaridi – I would recommend the experience to my friends because the learning outcomes of the course were really amazing.
More comments or anything else you would like to share? You can add here in your own language, if you want!
Anna Borodulja – Thank you for this opportunity!
