Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Rise Your Head” which will take place from 13th until 21st November 2021 in Coruña, Spain.
The project will be attended by young people who are interested in the topics tackled by the project, who have the motivation and the desire to challenge themselves by getting out of their comfort zone.
During the exchange, they will be put in contact with different cultures, they will interact with other values and will better understand their skills and strengths.
The objectives of the project are:
▪ To promote the desire for a face-to-face interaction with both friends and unknown people.
▪ To encourage the establishment of human contacts and to improve the verbal communication skills of the participants.
▪ To motivate them for a proper and healthy use of internet, such as enhancing the key competencies of youngsters through free online language courses, computer literacy courses, design courses etc.
▪ To reduce the need of using internet just trying to become popular and fancy.
Participants will have the opportunity to create a peaceful intercultural environment in which the common European cultural framework and social cohesion are shared and conceived. The work methods require an active participation and strong motivation from those who will be part of it. There will be sessions in which each participant will have the opportunity to learn more and share experiences on current
topics related to intercultural communication such as diversity, solidarity, tolerance, eradicating aggression, and mutual understanding through experimenting (learning by doing) and learning in a friendly environment.
This event will bring together 35 participants from Estonia, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Lithuania, Albania. The event will be held in English. There are 5 vacancies available and participants should be from 18 to 30 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 335 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
