Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “ECO Teens” which will take place from 09th until 15th October 2021 in Milcoveni, Romania.
Through this project we want to promote a sustainable lifestyle and eco alternatives to day-to-day habits. We also aim to increase the civic involvement and participation of young people on environmental topics, as well as their interest in ecology.
The aim of the project is to increase the level of knowledge and civic sense among young people, regarding ecology and environmental protection. We want that through the activities within the youth exchange to raise an alarm signal at local level, in Resita and Caras-Severin, on local environmental issues and the need for active involvement in solving them.
The objectives of the project are:
- Increasing knowledge about ecology and environmental protection among the participants during the exchange.
- Development of the spirit of initiative, civic participation and active involvement among the participants during the exchange
- Increasing creativity and artistic skills by finding sustainable alternatives to environmental issues
- Increasing knowledge about recycling and sustainability
PARTICIPANT PROFILE: age of participants 16 until 20 +1 group leader (without age limit)
This event will bring together 30 participants from Estonia, Romania, Spain, Lithuania and Bulgaria. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
