- Raising food waste awarenes
Me and my project partner are collecting information about how much food is wasted, how different regions are recycling their food scraps and how the environment affects food consumption.
We are also giving tips for people how they can reduce food waste in their homes.
We don’t waste our food in the volunteer’s house. - Sharing food cultures
We are cooking dishes from different countries, making videos about it, asking guests with contrasting backgrounds to come cook with us.
Mixing different traditions, talking about our home countries recipes and learning about others is educational and fun at the same time.
Project Tabulè benefits from the help of a farm called Le Aromatiche di Girafi. The farm owners grow herbs and legumes and we have the chance to collaborate.
