Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “Change Places, Change Lives” which will take place from 13th to 21st December 2021 in Velden am Wörthersee, Austria.
“Change Places | Change Lives” is aiming to develop youth workers/leaders competences in the field of migration to give them proper tools and methods to help young people to adapt with the situation of high migration level in all its aspects.
Solidarity, tolerance and integration are fundamental values that TC intends to promote. Activities will focus on the principles of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion, from both, European and global level. The challenges of migration, such as inclusion and integration of migrants, require development of solidarity and tolerance, and the TC aims to equip participants with tools to spread these values among young people, to contribute to the promotion of a more open and informedsociety that offers the same opportunities to everyone.
According to the principles of non-formal education, activities will be carried out relating to the consequences of migration on various levels, the risks faced by young people, especially migrants, the differences and similarities between mobility and migration, the
European mobility programs and actions dedicated to it, the role of active participation in the integration of migrants, the relationship between youth work and migration in the countries involved in the project, the exchange of best practices and experiences, support measures, the management of projects and financing opportunities, the development of new project ideas and evidence of learning taking place throughout the training.
This event will bring together 28 participants from Estonia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 1 vacancy available and participants should be from older than 18 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 245 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
