Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Up-cycling and online sale” which will take place from 26th April until 6th May 2022 in Brebu, Caras-Severin county, Romania.
Natural Way Association is a very young organisation that’s inspired from models of Eco Villages all over the world. Its members travelled and lived in different eco villages, with inspiration coming a lot from the Auroville in India: https://www.auroville.org/
The project`s themes are:
- Understand the principles of reuse and recycling of different waste
- Present different methods of reuse and recycling in a creative way
- Understand the online sales systems of products realized through recycling
- Create an intercultural group of young people
Our aim is to facilitate access for young people from different countries to a different style of living and interaction with technology. Some of the methods will be facilitated by experts; some sessions will be facilitated by you.
We are expecting to learn one from another. We will share experiences and methods and you will experience different concepts in order to transfer it to your local community.
The programme will include sessions about: The 4 R’s – refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle; Campaign about zero waste; Practical workshop on up-cycling materials from plastic, wood, glass, metal; Presentation of online platforms: WordPress, Shopify and Amazon; wellbeing; Personal and professional action plan and others. Each national group will be invited to share examples and experience from their national reality.
This event will bring together 42 participants from Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, and Spain. The event will be held in English. There are 8 vacancies available and participants should be between 15-25 years old (no age limit for the group leader)
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros.
NB! Please note that all the food for the entire stay there is 100% VEGAN and non-processed food. We do not eat any processed food in the community: white pasta, white bread, white sugar, pre-packaged snacks, sodas, prepackaged juices. The team will ensure that your menu will be diverse and balanced. Alcohol consumption and smoking will be strictly prohibited during the entire stage.
