Main activities developed:

*Made gingerbread with the youngsters in the youth center. We turned on Christmas music and it was honestly a blast. I was able to make better contact with them some of the youths that usually don’t talk to me a lot, so I was able to develop the social aspect.

*Made smoothies with the youngsters (during volunteering week). We bought the fruits ourselves, which was quite the challenge in itself. This was more of a first-contact activity, to get the youths to interact with me and the other way around. It helped me take the first step as well.

*Did a presentation about my own country. I created a prezi presentation and went to teach it to the 9th graders and 5th graders.
The teacher was not there though and I was teaching the kids alone. It went well, and I had a lot of fun doing it.
