Name of the project: Be the exCHANGE Training Course

What was the main topic of the event?
Liis Vääna – This project was about leadership, how to be better leader for young people, how to facilitate a workshops in youth exchanges.
Eliko Essmann – The main idea was through the laboratory to find this form of motivating where leader is not a teacher or mentor, where leader plays role as a facilitator who knows technology of involvement youngsters.
What was the biggest learning moments on the event for you?
Liis Vääna – These kind of projects are always very important for me. I learn a lot about myself. This time I learned there is a long way to go if I want to be a good leader. I was observing our facilitators and they did wonderful job as trainers. Everything was so well prepared and managed, this taught me a lot.
Eliko Essmann – I learned that how different are people , but nevertheless cooperation and reaching common results.
Do you have any plans to continue active in the field? If yes, what?
Liis Vääna – Yes of course. I feel it’s my future. Right now still learning but I hope soon enough I will have my contribution.
Eliko Essmann – Yes, I think I can use this knowledge at my work in kindergarten. Also I want to go to University and get master degree, although I’m not sure which specialty I choose, then it is possible to choose work with young people.
Would you recommend it to your friends? I yes, why? If not, why not?
Liis Vääna – Yes. All these training courses are very awesome. You meet new people, who can be your future contacts. Also you gain so much new knowledge. I highly recommend this kind of projects.
Eliko Essmann – Yes, I would recommend this experiences to my friends. This is create oppurtunity to discover new places and met with new people.
