Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “First Aid Kit” which will take place from 5th until 15th April 2019 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The project “First aid kit” aims at developing various skills and competences of youth workers related to first aid, risk management, managing with difficult situations. Three experienced trainers will provide the participants with the necessary information, and will help them enhance their abilities through the methods of non-formal and informal education.
After the course, the youth workers will know more about protection of the people they work with, about how to prevent risk situations, and about how to make the other members of their organizations aware of these issues. As part of the dissemination of the results, a short movie and an online platform will be created and popularized in their countries.
Our First Aid First Aid project enables youth workers to raise their knowledge and gain experience and skills for first aid and to limit damage from disasters and accidents. We are aware that such trainings are mainly conducted by the Red Cross and the specialized state institutions. Youth workers need to learn how to provide first aid and thus acquire the knowledge and skills that are very necessary to save lives. On the other hand, by training first aid youth workers, organizations will minimize their costs of treating fatal, serious and minor injuries that may occur to project participants.
This event will bring together with 30 participants from 9 countries, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should be minimum 18 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
