Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “R3 Tree (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)” which will take place from 22nd until 30th October 2018 in Szeged, Hungary.
The aim of the Youth Exchange is to discover more about R3 (Reducing, Reusing and Recycle) principles in resource management in their communities while we better understand different cultures.
We will anticipate and solve problems in intercultural teams and taste intercultural cooperation while learning how to use the R3 ideas in our daily life. We intend to improve and share competence among participants; leaders and youth NGO’s to develop projects in a sustainable way using a simple rule – REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE and create hands-on workshops to share that in practice. Those workshops would be as concrete as possible so they can be applied among all partners’ projects and organizations.
This project intends to create a community of “green” minded young people working on sustainable resources to implementation of joint activities under concrete bases of environmental friendly approach. The methods used in this exchange will be interactive and non-formal (group discussion, simulations, theater and experts interviews), where each participant will have the opportunity to share their own experience and develop common workshops with the good practices in “Green Skills” around our countries. R3 Tree intends to empower young people and local communities for the importance of materials management and sustainable environment, from local based economies to green-loop productions having young people as “engine” in that transformation.
This event will bring together 36 participants from Estonia, Hungary, Spain, Georgia, Moldova and Armenia. The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should be from 18 to 30 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
