Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “(Anti) Social!” which will take place from 11th until 19th July 2018 in Kolin, Czech Republic.
(Anti)social will get your social media skills to the next level, raise your confidence in communication and provide you with experience you can use everywhere – in your work, in your school, in your NGO or in your everyday life. We invite you to come to hear the experience of others and share yours!
By implementing the project (Anti)social! we want to provide youth workers with superhero-like vision, that can see through every trick in the book. In order to get the message to as many young people as possible, we will address youth workers over Europe to spread our message and to share the knowledge and insights we give them. We also invite people to share their experience, bring new and fresh ideas and help us continue our work in the future by adding more and more high quality work. We want to accomplish the following objectives:
1) To promote active participation amongst youth to prevent isolation, extremism and radicalisation.
2) To develop digital competences by giving skills for using social media as a tool for promoting active citizenship and
3) To present public speaking skills as a must for every leader/youthworker who wants to drive a change in understanding.
4) To uncover how social media affect everything around us, including our opinions on different topics, such as migration.
5) To give critical thinking, fact-checking and media literacy skills as a fight against fake news
6) To spread the ideas and knowledge gained though this project to young people Europe-wide.
This event will bring together 27 participants from Estonia, Croatia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, Portugal and Czech Republic. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should be minimum 18 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
