Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called “Sustainable Development Goals: Make it Happen” which will take place from 03rd until 16th July 2018 in Oeiras, Portugal.
The idea of the project is to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to youngsters and give them tools to act in their achievement until 2020.
The youth exchange will take place during the summer 2018 in Oeiras, Portugal, and will happen in a moment that Europe faces multiple challenges and where it is necessary to find the strength and inspiration to respond to them, for example through the Europe 2020 strategy towards smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. We want to live in an inspiring Europe, of all, for all, where each young person plays a decisive role.
Objectives
* Promote the active citizenship of young people in general and their European citizenship in particular;
*Develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, to promote social cohesion in the European Union;
*Develop mutual understanding between young people from different countries;
*To promote European cooperation in the youth field
*To promote among young people and the community in general Erasmus + program in its various forms
This event will bring together 35 participants from Estonia, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal and Greece. The event will be held in English. There are 7 vacancies available and participants should be 18 until 25 years old.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 400 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
