Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called European Meeting of Sport for Tolerance” which will take place from 04th until 11th August 2016in Arrouquelas, Portugal.
The main goal of this Youth Exchange is to connect the European Youngsters through several outdoor activities and other non-formal activities, promoting the tolerance between people from different places of Europe. The highlight of this project is to create in a group a “Flashmob” presentation including all the European values. This”Flashmob” will be performed to all the local community, during the Annual Summer Festivities of our village.
Activities will be related with debates, sports (outdoor) and study-visits. Share with their communities, achieving the definition and identification of the European Citizenship’s meanings, with special focus on sports values /cultural context. The youngsters will explore the diversity trough sports, in multinational activities, teaching each other small cultural secrets, and highlighting their similarities. As we said before, the activities will be related to the sports and also to creative groups dynamics, multinational groups, teambuilding games, informal debates related to the cultural diversity, outdoor sporting activities in interaction with the local community and visits to local companies operating in the sports industry.  

This event will bring together 60 participants from 10 European Countries. The event will be held in English. There are 5 vancancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old until 30 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 400 euros. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
