Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called “CityZens of Europe” which will take place in 28th March until 06th April 2013 in Deutschlandsberg, Austria.
The training course that aims to support the professional development of youth workers, youth leaders and trainers, who are working in inclusion field and to raise the quality of their projects concerning citizenship. We will approach the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. The training course will use methods of experiential learning as role plays, simulations and drama methods and group sharing methods as small and large group discussions.
Together, we will be working out and improving ‘ method toolkit’ on how to motivate youngsters with fewer opportunities (disabled people, people with migration background, people from rural areas, etc.) for participation in their community and beyond. All over mission of the training course is to find the ways how to make the issue of citizenship attractive to the youth.
This event will bring together 24 participants from European Union countries. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.
